Free Copy of Dr. Atkins Diet Plan and Food List The Atikins diet is a low carbohydrate diet plan. If you follow the food types as set out, you'll eat less than 20 grams of carbohydrates per day, and lose weight.
1. Meats and Cheeses:
The meats and cheeses in column 1 have no carbohydrates. Using the Atkins diet plan you may eat as much of the following items as you like.
2. Good Vegetables:
These vegetables contain one tenth of your daily carbohydrate limit. You can eat up to three cups of these vegetables.
3. Other Vegetables:
These vegetables have a higher carbohydrates value. You should not eat more than one cup of any of these vegetables per day.
4. Foods To Be Avoided:
These foods should be avoided at all costs on the Atkins diet.
